The other day, Daddy and I were watching Food Network. We watch it a lot, actually. Daddy loves the cooking competition-type shows. He's all about any kind of competition. :)
Anyway, we were watching this show called Halloween Wars. These teams make different kinds of cakes for different Halloween themes. At the end of each round, one team goes home. In the end, one team will be left to win... something... whatever the prize is.
Yeah I admit that these shows don't hold my rapt attention. I'm not into the whole competetive thing. I like to sit with Daddy for the sake of being with him, but I often get distracted by my phone or other things. I do like watching the contestants as they work, and the finished products are the best part: they always look so cool. I actually love to cook and bake, so it's not like I'm not interested. I'm just not into the details or the drama that go along with the competition.
Okay, so we're watching this show, and suddenly Daddy says, Did you see the way that cake looked? That was a submissive cake if I ever saw one!
I had no clue what he was talking about, so I made him rewind. (Yes, he loves his tv, so of course we have that kind.) He told me, Watch, she's kneeling for the zombie to eat her brains, and even her hands in her lap are palms up!
Sure enough...

Wow. I missed that one. I usually watch those shows. For the creativity, though. Not the competititon. I'm fascinated by what they can create.
ReplyDeleteI watched that episode! I think they even presented the idea as the vampire bowing to the dominance, or the superiority, of the zombie. hehehe
ReplyDeleteI'll never look at that show in the same way. Let's see what that team makes on Sunday night!
